Formed in September 1974, the International Packaging Press Organisation (IPPO) is an independent and non-profit making society of more than 85 professional journalists from 32 countries worldwide specialised in writing and reporting packaging and the packaging supply chain.

The IPPO Board is elected at the full General Members' Meeting held at Interpack, and has a tenure of three years.
The current IPPO Board (2011-2013) comprises seasoned packaging journalists from three continents: Asia, North America and Europe.
The IPPO network of journalists worldwide is ideally positioned to act as the bridge, communicating between industry and its customers.
IPPO’s 85 members write and edit publications read by more than 300,000 packaging professionals – your customers.
As an organisation, IPPO has many channels to assist industry get its marketing and promotional message across.
