Carlsberg looks to Asia with new hire

Looking to grow its business in Asia, Carlsberg Group has appointed Søren Brinck as senior vice president Asia – effective from the start of next year.

Brinck will be responsible for Carlsberg’s Vietnam, Myanmar and Cambodia businesses. In addition, he will lead a range of business development projects to try to unlock new market partnerships and opportunities in the region.

“It’s with great pleasure that we can announce that Søren Brinck has been appointed to a new position, which represents an extra resource commitment to accelerate new growth opportunities in Asia,” said Cees ‘t Hart, chief executive of Carlsberg Group.

Since 2017, Brinck has been managing director of Carlsberg Denmark. Peter Haahr Nielsen, currently vice president of sales, off trade in Carlsberg Denmark, will take on this role in January.
