IPPO launches new logo

It is often said that a change is as good as a holiday and part of my remit as president for the next three years is to modernise and refresh IPPO without reinventing the wheel.

The IPPO board would like to introduce to you our new logo. During our discussions regarding the website changes – based also on your feedback to our questionnaire – it was decided that we would potentially address the logo, which was well overdue an update. We assigned the task to a designer who presented us with a raft of options, from the conservative to the extreme.

Our objective was a clean, professional logo that focuses on the Packaging Press elements of our organisation, and that lends itself well to all formats we may need to utilise our logo in going forward, including in black/white format, smaller versions on business cards or presentations, and letterheads/brochures etc.

After much debate we have decided upon this new logo, which we believe stays true to our roots and traditions, yet presents a more modern, business approach.

The focus of the acronym is the PP, while the reversal of colours in the accompanying full name of the organisation also attracts the eyes to Packaging Press.

This will be our new logo going forward and we would invite all IPPO members to display the new logo on their social media profiles and beyond.
