Scott Ludwig has joined US-based Trexel as sales manager for global packaging, as the company seeks to gain traction in the market with its foaming solutions.
Trexel recently introduced the P-Series, which is a foaming solution developed specifically for the challenges and demands of thin-wall packaging applications, while its TecoCell chemical foaming solution for caps and closures provides a microcellular structure.
Ludwig has pedigree in the packaging industry, having previously worked for Kortec/Milacron as business development manager focusing on technical sales of co-injection moulding systems for pharmaceutical, food and beverage packaging applications. He joins from Gateway Plastics, where he was responsible for new business development of high-barrier co-injection moulded food and beverage packaging.
