Steven is the Editor of Urethanes Technology International, published by Crain Communications, a role he has held since January 2025. With over two decades of experience in polymer and packaging journalism, Steven previously served as Editor of Plastics in Packaging — later rebranded as Eco-plastics in Packaging — since 2003, after joining Sayers Publishing Group in 2000.

He has held several leadership roles in the global packaging media community, including serving as Vice President (2014–2017) and later President (2017–2023) of the International Packaging Press Organisation (IPPO).

Alongside his editorial work, Steven contributes as a freelance journalist to various newsletters in his local region.
